The Latin American Center for Graduate Studies in Music has embraced a number of students from various countries throughout the Latin American region. Those countries include Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Uruguay. Students from Europe and the United States also participate in the activities of the Center.

With the considerable annual increase in Latin American student enrollment, and the addition of new doctoral students, the Center provides a strong, supportive atmosphere.
