Acceptance into the music school is a two-fold process. You must apply for acceptance into the University, as well as audition for your program of interest. Auditions can be done before, after, or concurrently with the application to the University. An application does not necessarily need to be submitted before auditioning, except in the case of Early Admission, but it is highly encouraged.
Admission to performance and education music programs requires both admission to the University and passing the audition. Please contact the Office of Admission for application deadlines.
All applicants who audition (both in person or online) are considered for a music scholarship.
Below you will find our audition dates for this year, audition requirements and an audition request form. Should you have any other questions please contact email@example.com.
Deadline to apply for the M.M. Composition Stage Music degree program has now passed. If you missed the deadline, we encourage you to apply next year for Fall 2018 admission. Our other graduate programs (M.M. Composition Concert Music, and D.M.A. Composition) are open for application through the end of the academic year.
