20 February: AMS - Library of Congress Lecture Series: Miranda Sousa: "The Luiz Heitor Correa de Azevedo Collection at the LOC: Musical and Cultural Exchange Between Brazil and the US During The Good Neighbor Policy Years"

13 April: Catholic University hosts the Spring Meeting of the Capital Chapter of the American Musicological Society, in John Paul Hall of Ward Hall. Ph.D. candidate Matt Gabay is competing for the Lowens Award for Student Research at the meeting; also on the program are CUA faculty members Karen Uslin and Andrew H. 13 April: Alumnus Thomas Rohde (Ph.D. 2023) gives a presentation with Dr. Bryan McCann (Professor of History, Georgetown University) on the Brazilian vinyl collection in CUA's Latin American Music Center. 5:00 pm, Ward Recital Hall
