Year-Long

The Composition Seminar meets from 12:40pm - 2:00pm in Ward Hall 139 on most Thursdays during the academic term. This is our weekly meeting of all composition students studying in our various degree programs, involving guest speakers, student and faculty presentations on new music, discussion and planning of our area recital each semester, and reading sessions by CUA and guest ensembles. Any prospective student should try to time a campus visit with a Composition Seminar meeting. If you are a prospective student and would like to visit the composition seminar, please contact Dr. Stephen Gorbos, head of the composition area (gorbos@cua.edu).
