As a member of the music education academic area of Catholic University, it is very strongly recommended that all graduating students belong to several professional organizations that work towards the advancement of music education. Graduating seniors must belong to at least two professional organizations. Two student chapters of professional organizations exist on campus, though students have the option and opportunities to join many more.
