Student Film Scores Online at the Library of Congress
In 2023, ten graduate and undergraduate student composers created new scores to silent films from the Paper Print Collection of the Library of Congress. The scores were performed live at the National Gallery of Art by Balance Campaign, then a resident ensemble of the Department of Music. Restored versions of these films, with the students' scores synchronized, have now been added to the online National Screening Room of the Library of Congress.
