Alumnus Nathan Blair (B.M. 2016) has been awarded the position of staff conductor and pianist/coach at the Saarlaendisches Staatstheater (opera house) in Germany to begin in May, 2018. Nathan was a piano student of Prof. Ivo Kaltchev, and a conducting student of Prof. Murry Sidlin. He is currently a DMA candidate in conducting at Indiana University.
