Dr. Patcheva is a Prizewinner at the 51st International Competition Busoni in Italy, the Washington International Competition and the International Chamber Music Competition "Accademia di Citta di Pinerolo" in Italy. Soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra, Arlington Symphony, Alexandria Symphony, Jena Philharmonic (Germany), Haydn Orchestra (Italy). Recitals and chamber music performances at concert halls, such as the Kennedy Center, Phillips Collection, and Strathmore Hall as well as Jubilee Hall (England), St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall and Tchaikovsky Hall (Russia),Gasteig and Gewandhaus (Germany). Visiting artist of the Villa Musica Concert Foundation, Germany.

    At present Ralitza Patcheva is Associate Chair of Chamber Music at the Levine School of Music where she is also on the piano faculty. She has been on the faculties of the University of Maryland-College Park, Georgetown University and the Hochschule fur Musik in Munich, Germany.

    Since 2002 Dr. Patcheva co-directs the Brown Bag Music Series at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library with cellist Vasily Popov (currently hosted by the Goethe Institute in DC). She is also on the board of the Bulgarian Music Society in Washington DC.
