  • Robert Higgins is a local theatre performer, director, and choreographer, and an alumnus of The Catholic University of America. He has performed locally at The Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, Signature Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Toby's Dinner Theatre, and Adventure Theatre, as well as in productions in New York City and at a number of regional theatres along the East Coast.  Robert has worked with such noted theatre choreographers as Ann Reinking, Randy Skinner, Denis Jones, and Josh Rhodes. Some DC-area choreography and directing credits include NextStop Theatre Company: Singin’ in the Rain (Choreographer, Helen Hayes Award nominated); The Catholic University of America: Kiss Me, Kate (Choreographer); Montgomery College's Summer Dinner Theatre: Sweet Charity (Choreographer), Sister Act (Choreographer), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Choreographer); Iron Crow Theatre: The Wild Party (Choreographer); Johns Hopkins University: Company (Director/Choreographer); Olney Theatre Center: Finian’s Rainbow in Concert (Director/Choreographer), Children of Eden in Concert (Choreographer), Sweeney Todd (Asst. Director/Choreographer), Evita (Asst. Director/Choreographer), Guys and Dolls (Asst. Director); Shakespeare Theatre Company: Measure for Measure (Asst. Choreographer); Constellation Theatre Company: Urinetown (Asst. Choreographer); Rainbow Theatre Project: Jeffrey (Director); Capital Fringe: The Crayon King (Director/Choreographer). As an educator, Robert has taught at The Catholic University of America, American University, and Montgomery College.
